The Barbados Water Authority informs residents and businesses in parts of St. Philip and Christ Church that the Pumping Station, which supplies them with water, will be taken offline on Wednesday, July 12th, between 9 am and 4 pm, to facilitate work at Hampton in St. Philip.
As a result, customers in the following areas may be affected by low-pressure or water outages. Balls Land, Bright Hill, Coverley, Fairview, Foursquare Valley, Gibbons, Highland Village, Leadvale, Lowlands, Newton Terrace, Parish Land, Pilgrim Place, Pitchers Hill, St. Patricks, Thyme Bottom, Walronds, Woodbourne, Atlantic Shores, Chancery Lane, Ealing Park, Gibbons Boggs, Goodland, Inch Marlow, Sayers Court, Seaview, Silver Sands, St. Christopher, Wilcox, Durants, Kingsland, Lodge Road, Newton, Southern Heights, Callendars, Gall Hill, Silver Hill, Maxwell Hill, Apple Hall, Atlantic Park, Belair, Benthams, Bequest, Castle Heights, Cave Land, Coles Development, Diamond Valley, Eastbourne, Harmony Hall, Kirtons, Long Bay, Long Bay Development, Lynches, Merricks, Poolers Land, Ruby, Seaview, Shrewsbury, The Crane, Union, Well House Bay, Wellhouse, Work Hall, Bayfield, Blades Hill, Bushy Park, Chapel, Content Cot, Doughlins, Duncans, Eastpoint, Edgecumbe Tenantry, Farm Gardens, Four Roads, Halton Terrace, Heddings, Industry Hall, Lucas Street, Lyders Hill, Mangrove, Marchfield, Marleyvale, Padmore Village, Parish Land, Rices, Sanford, Six Roads, St. Catherine, St. Margaret’s Village, Thickets, Three Houses, Vineyard, Windward Gardens and surrounding districts.
We strongly recommend that customers in these districts store water to assist during the period of work.
Water tankers will be dispatched to assist customers in the affected areas as a temporary measure.
