The Barbados Water Authority advises today Saturday, February 12th that it is conducting emergency repairs to a damaged pump at the Alleynedale Pump Station.
The shutdown of this station to effect repairs has impacted two connected facilities in the North. As a result, customers in St. Lucy and some St. Peter districts are currently experiencing low pressure or water outages. The Authority will assist residents via water tanker while the emergency work is being carried out.
Updates will be provided on the progress of repairs. The Barbados Water Authority apologises for any inconvenience this emergency work has caused. ( ENDS)
