Today, Thursday, May 7th, 2026 the Barbados Water Authority (BWA) is advising residents and businesses in parts of St. John, St. Joseph and St. Andrew that it is currently conducting emergency repairs on a large-diameter main at Foster Hall in St. John.

Customers in the following areas may be affected by a water outage or low pressure as a result:

Foster Hall in St. John.

 Bathsheba, Joe’s River, Gaggs Hill, Cattlewash and surrounding districts in St. Joseph.

 Lakes Village, Haggatts, St. Simon’s, Bawdens, Bruce Vale, Baxters, Cane Garden, Coggins Hill, Hopewell, Chalky Mount, Cambridge Bay, Belleplaine, Walkers, Douglin Village, Shorey Village and the surrounding areas in St. Andrew.

The Authority will make every effort to assist the affected residents by water tanker while repairs are being conducted.
