Later today Tuesday, July 11th, once repair of the burst in Holetown has been completed, Barbados Water Authority crews will move to conduct emergency repairs on a large diameter main in the vicinity of The Garden, St. James.
This work is expected to impact customers along Highway 1 between Mount Standfast and The Garden and the surrounding areas with a water outage or low pressure.
Again water tankers will be deployed to assist, however, residents and businesses in this section of St. James have the opportunity to store some water to assist while work is being conducted this afternoon.
The Barbados Water Authority apologises for the inconvenience this emergency repair scheduled for The Gardens St. James may cause. (ENDS)
