The Barbados Water Authority is today, Wednesday, September 27th advising residents and businesses in parts of St. Michael that it is currently conducting emergency repairs on a large diameter main in the vicinity of Two Mile Hill.
As a result, customers in Belle Gully, Pine, Howell’s Cross Roads, Ivy, My Lord’s Hill, Two Mile Hill, Belleville and the surrounding areas may be affected by a water outage or low pressure.
The travelling public is advised that a partial closure of Two Mile Hill will be necessary. The JTC Ramsey Roundabout exit to Howells Cross Road will be westbound lane only. Motorists are asked to use an alternate route if possible.
Persons approaching Two Mile Hill should heed the road restriction notice, obey the instructions of the flag persons and traverse this area with the utmost caution to maintain the safety of all.
Water tankers have been deployed to assist customers in the affected areas.
