The Barbados Water Authority is today, Wednesday, May 6th advising residents and businesses in parts of St. James, St. Peter and St. Michael that it is currently conducting emergency repairs on a main in the vicinity of St Stephens Hill.

As a result, customers in along Hwy 1 going north St. Stephens, Lazaretto, Black Rock, Prospect, Porters, Durants, Holetown, Folkestone, Mount Standfast, The Garden, Weston, Lower Carlton, Gibbes, Mullins, Heywoods and the surrounding areas may be affected by a water outage or low pressure.

Water tankers have been deployed to assist.
