Today Thursday, June 25th the Barbados Water Authority is advising residents and businesses in parts of St. George and St. Thomas that it is conducting emergency repairs on a large-diameter main at the junction of Applewhaites Tenantry Road & Locust Hall Tenantry in St. George.
As a result, residents and businesses located in Proute, Forty Acres, White Hill Tenantry, Vaucluse Tenantry, Shop Hill, Grand View, Content, Christie Village, Dukes Tenantry, Applewhaites, Locust Hall, St. Helen’s, Belair, Roach Village, Paradise, Groves Tenantry, Cottage Terrace, Bridge Cot, Newbury, Salisbury, Free Hill, Briggs Hill, Taitt Hill, Rock Hall and surrounding districts may suffer low pressure or water outages at this time.
Water tankers will be deployed to assist.
