The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) is today, Monday, June 15th 2026 informing residents and businesses in parts of St. Michael that it has discovered a rupture on a large-diameter main in Brighton.

As a result, customers in Brighton, Brighton Beach Road North, Rihanna Drive, Waterhall Land, Eagle Hall, Peterkin Road, Bank Hall, Waterloo Gardens, Ferniehurst, Black Rock, Deacons Road, Goodland, Gills Gap, Deacons Farm, Alkins Land, Richmond Gap, Birds River, Kings Gap and the surrounding areas may already be impacted by water outages or low pressure.

Crews will conduct emergency repairs during the day today Monday and the Authority will make every effort to assist the affected residents via water tanker as a temporary measure.
