The Barbados Water Authority informs residents and businesses in parts of St. James & St. Thomas that two (2) Pumping Stations which supply them with water are currently offline today Tuesday, July 19th to facilitate emergency repairs to bursts on large diameter mains at Hinds Hill, St. Michael and Trents, St. James.

 

Customers in the following areas may be affected by low pressure or water outages as a result.

  • Crystal Heights
  • Redman’s Village
  • Bagatelle Park
  • Bagatelle Gardens
  • Hoyte’s Village
  • Arch Hall

  • Lancaster
  • Orange Hill
  • Apes Hill

and surrounding districts.

 

We strongly recommend that customers in these districts who still have a pipe-borne supply, store water to assist during the period of work.

 

Water tankers will be dispatched to assist customers in affected areas as a temporary measure.  There may be delays due to heavy demand.
