The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) wishes to inform the public that repairs to the large-diameter burst main at New Market, St. George were completed in the early hours of today, Saturday, April 11, 2026.
The water supply to residents in the affected districts of St George and Christ Church will gradually return to normal.
In the meantime, the BWA’s tanker fleet will continue to provide support to customers in the affected areas.
The Barbados Water Authority apologises for any inconvenience caused by this emergency repair at New Market, St George, and appreciates the public’s understanding and cooperation.
