The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) wishes to apologise for the issuance of an update yesterday evening, Sunday November 1st, 2026 which incorrectly stated that its St. Michael station was fully back online. At that time, the work had only been partially completed.
However, today Monday November 2nd, the Authority can confirm that all work at the facility was completed in the early hours of this morning.
Customers in the affected areas of Christ Church, St. George and St. Michael are advised that it may take some time for the water pressure to return to normal in all districts. Water tanker service will continue to assist residents as needed.
The BWA apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks customers for their patience and understanding. (ENDS)
