The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) advises the public that there has been no change in the operating status of its station in St. John. The facility remains at reduced capacity due to technical difficulties.

 As a result, customers in the following areas may experience water outages or low water pressure:

 St. George – Ridge Meadows, Sweet Bottom, Ashbury, Thorpes Cottage, Superlative, Bydes Mill, St. Judes, Glen Acres, Greens, Prerogative, Brighton, Drax Hall Hope, Glebe, The Mount, Fairview, Baird’s Village and surrounding areas.

 Additional areas in St. George – The Farm, Upper Brighton, Drax Hall, Free Hill, Ellerton, Walkers Close, Workmans, Redland, Redland Plantation and surrounding areas.

 St. John – Gall Hill, Coach Hill, Rosegate, Massiah Street, Four Roads, Clifton Hall, Pool, Church View and surrounding areas.

 St. Philip – Breezy Hill, Church Village, Cottage Vale, Mount Pleasant Gardens, Moncrieffe and surrounding areas.

 The BWA is actively addressing the technical difficulties that have caused the station to operate at reduced capacity. Water tanker assistance will continue to service customers in affected areas.
