The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) wishes to inform residents and businesses in parts of St. Lucy that on Thursday, July 9th one of its St. Lucy stations will be taken offline between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to facilitate repairs.
As a result, customers in Half Moon Fort, Clinketts, Clinketts Gardens, Sutherland Hill, Checker Hall Road No.1, Colleton, Four Cross Roads, Maycocks Road, Maycocks Development, Maycocks Terrace, Broomefield, Broomefield No.1, Husbands Development, Friendly Hall Development, Harrison Road, Harrison Point, Content, Crab Hill, Archers Bay, Archers Road, Grape Hall, Avis Town, Stroude Bay, Greenidges, Cluff and the immediate surrounding areas may experience low pressure or a water outage while work is underway.
Persons are encouraged to store some water to support their needs during this period. The Authority will provide temporary assistance via water tanker to the affected districts.
