The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) wishes to update residents and businesses in parts of St. Michael, Christ Church and St. George on the progress of urgent works scheduled for today, Thursday, May 28th.
Fairy Valley, Christ Church: Teams are currently still conducting repairs on a large-diameter main in Fairy Valley. Due to an additional burst sustained on the same main, this work will now be completed outside of the previously scheduled time of 3:00 p.m.
St. Michael Station: Unforeseen circumstances have delayed the start of work at the St. Michael station. This work is expected to begin shortly and most areas are not anticipated to experience water outages during the process.

The Authority will provide temporary assistance to the affected districts via water tanker as necessary.
