The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) advises customers in parts of St. Michael and St. Thomas that one of its facilities in St. Michael will be taken offline tomorrow, Monday, April 27, 2026, to facilitate urgent repairs.
This shutdown will also affect another facility within the distribution system.
As a result, customers in Hothersal Turning, Jackman’s, Skeete’s Road, Friendship, Lears, Codrington, Storey Gap, Green Hill, Eden Lodge, White Hall, Rock Dundo, Austin Drive, Lodge Crescent, Lodge Terrace, Lower Estate and the immediate surrounding areas may experience low water pressure or water outages.
Customers are advised to store an adequate amount of water to assist during the period of disruption. Water tankers will also be dispatched to assist.
The Authority apologises for the inconvenience caused and thanks customers for their patience and understanding. (ENDS)
