The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) is advising residents and businesses in Bournes Village, St. George and surrounding districts that the water supply will be temporarily shut off to facilitate repairs to another burst on a 4-inch main in the area today, Saturday, April 11, 2026.
A crew has been mobilised to carry out the necessary repairs.
During the repair period, customers in Bournes Village and nearby areas may experience a water outage or low water pressure.
The Barbados Water Authority apologises for the inconvenience this interruption in Bournes Village, St George may cause and thanks customers for their patience as efforts are made to restore the water supply as quickly as possible. (ENDS)
