Ionics Freshwater Limited has advised the Barbados Water Authority that pumping at its Desalination Plant will be reduced between the hours of 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 26th to 3:00 p.m. on Monday, 27th  October.

 

As a result, residents and businesses may experience low water pressure or water outages in the following areas:

St. Michael

 

Waterford, Codrington, Spooner’s Hill, Bush Hall, Tudor Bridge, Grazettes, Station Hill, Fairfield Cross Road, Cave Hill, Bibby’s Lane, Jackson Terrace, Jackson, Warrens Terrace, Warrens, Warrens Park South and surrounding areas.

 

St. Peter

 

Six Men’s Village, Retreat, Heywoods, Ashton Hall, Douglas Development, Golden Mile, Church Street Gardens, Round the Town, Farm Tenantry, Speightstown, Battaleys, Road View, Gibbs and surrounding districts.

 

St. James

 

Lower Carlton, Weston, The Garden, Wanstead, Husbands Heights, West Terrace, Oxnards, Ricks Land, Halls Village, Durants Village, Thorpes, Appleby, Derricks, Fitts Village, Holetown, Paynes Bay, Prospect, Sunset Crest, Trents, Sandy Lane, Prior Park, Warrens, Clermont, Clearview Heights, Crystal Heights, Hoyte’s Village, Seaview, Halcyon Heights, Sunset Ridge, Lancaster, Orange Hill, Apes Hill, Greenwich and surrounding areas.

Customers are advised to store an adequate supply of water to assist during this period. The Water Authority’s tankers will make every effort to supply water customers in the affected areas.
