The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) wishes to inform residents and businesses in Parts of St. Michael, Christ Church and St. George that one of its St. Michael pumping stations is currently offline due to an electrical fault.
As a result customers in the following areas may experience low water pressure or outages:
St. Michael:
Westbury Road, Deacons Road, Black Rock, Mapp Hill, Mount Friendship, Lower Burney, St. Barnabas, Pinelands, Highgate Gardens, Flagstaff, Clapham, Wildey, Haggatt Hall, Howells Cross Road and the immediate surrounding areas.
St. George:
Dash Valley, Ellerton, The Mount, Carmichael, Carmichael Tenantry, Buttals and the immediate surrounding areas.
Christ Church:
Rockley, Maxwell, Fort George Heights, Kent, Elizabeth Park, Regency Park, Sheraton Park, Sargeant’s Village, Warners Park, Warners Terrace, Briar Hall, Graeme Hall, Rendezvous, Bartlett’s Tenantry, Club Morgan and the immediate surrounding districts.
Customers are advised to store an adequate supply of water to assist during this period. The Water Authority’s tankers will make every effort to assist persons in the affected areas as a temporary measure.
