The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) advises customers in parts of St. Peter, St. Andrew, St. Thomas, and Christ Church that today, Wednesday, August 20th, 2025, it is experiencing challenges within its distribution system, resulting in reduced water supply to some higher elevated districts.
The Authority is currently investigating reports from customers in the following areas:
- St. Peter: Oxford, Church Hill, Mount Gay
- Christ Church: Upper Kingsland, Balls, Southern Heights
- St. Andrew: Bawden’s Hill
- St. Thomas: Christie Village, Shop Hill
and the immediate surrounding areas.
As a temporary measure, BWA water tankers have been dispatched to assist customers in the affected areas.
