The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) is today Sunday, July 20th advising residents and businesses along the West Coast between the Lazaretto in St. Michael and Port St. Charles in St. Peter that it is conducting emergency repairs on a large-diameter main in the vicinity of Sandy Lane.
As a result, customers along Highway 1 may be affected by low pressure or a water outage. Persons in these districts are advised to store some water to assist.
Water tankers will be deployed to help and updates will be provided on the progress of the work.
