The Barbados Water Authority is today, Friday, May 30th 2025 advising residents and business in parts of Christ Church and St. Michael that crews are conducting repairs on a large diameter main on the Pine North-South Road.
In order to conduct the work, the section of road from the traffic lights at the bottom of Pine East-West Boulevard to its junction with Pine Hill has been closed to thru’ traffic.
The Authority has made adjustments to its distribution network to reduce the impact on customers supplied via this main. However, residents in the some of the districts affected by yesterday’s ruptured main may experience low pressure or a water outage today as a result.
Crews are working to complete the repair as soon as possible and water tankers have been deployed to assist persons in the affected areas.
