Today, Friday May 30th, 2025 the Barbados Water Authority (BWA) wishes to advise that it has been forced to take one of its facilities in St. John offline in order to conduct emergency repairs.

As a result, residents of Bannantyne, Boarded Hall, Brereton, Buttals Tenantry, Campaign Castle, Constant, Cox Road, Dayrell’s Hill, Eastlyn, Edey Village, First Step, Frere Pilgrim, Good Intent, Hannays Valley, Lower Brighton, Lower Greys, Manning’s Village, South District, St. David’s, Walkers Valley, Watts Village, Waverley Cot, Windsor Tenantry and surrounding areas may experience low water pressure or outages.

The Authority will make every effort to assist residents via water tanker as a temporary measure while repairs are conducted. An update will be shared on the progress of the work.
