The Barbados Water Authority is providing an update following reports of low water pressure and outages affecting several districts in St. James and St. Thomas earlier today.
The impacted areas included:
- Husbands Crescent
- Husbands Terrace
- Midsummer Drive
- Clearview Heights Stage 3
- Clover Crescent
- Redman Village (St. Thomas)
Following investigations, valve assessments, and adjustments by the Distribution Department and the Leeward Section, the water supply has begun returning to the affected areas.
BWA crews will continue to closely monitor these locations over the coming week to ensure service levels remain stable and to respond promptly to any further issues that may arise.
Water tanker crews will also continue to assist residents as needed.
