The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) informs residents and businesses in St. Lucy that it will be conducting additional testing of the filtration system at the Alleynedale Station starting Tuesday, February 25th, 2025 until Tuesday, March 11th, 2025.
This is not anticipated to adversely impact the distribution system however, there may be short periods of decreased flow and pressure in some districts.
St. Lucy residents are encouraged to store an adequate supply of water to assist during this period. The Authority will also make every effort to support residents via tanker.
