The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) wishes to inform residents of some St. John
and St. George districts that one of its stations in St. John has been taken offline to allow crews to conduct emergency repairs at the facility.

The Authority has made adjustments to its distribution network in order to minimise the number of areas likely to be affected while work is underway today Thursday, July 4th.

However, customers in the neighbourhoods listed below may continue to be affected by low pressure or outages until the repair work is complete.

In St. John:

Todds Tenantry, Macaroni Village, Henley, Cherry Grove, Wakefield Tenantry, Lemon Arbor, Spooners, Massiah Street, Guinea, Lovells Road, Society, Ashford, Cheshire, Small Hope, Moores Land, Carters, Gall Hill, Clifton Hall, Pothouse, Church View, Glebe, Colleton, Cliff Cottage, Welch Village, Bath Land, Coach Hill, Colleton Gardens, Sargent Street, Haynes Hill, New Castle, Zores Land, Martins Bay and surrounding districts.

In St. George:

Tanker crews will maintain a temporary supply of water to the persons affected in the interim.

The Barbados Water Authority apologises for the inconvenience this service disruption may cause and thanks customers for their understanding.    (ENDS)
