The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) is today, Tuesday, March 26th, advising residents and businesses located near Half Acre in St. Lucy that it will be conducting urgent repairs on a large-diameter main in the area.
As a result, customers residing in Half Acre, Durham, Jemmott Hill, Date Tree Hill, Cave Hill, Pie Corner, Chance Hall and surrounding districts may be affected by low pressure or water outages. Persons who still have a pipe-borne supply are asked to store an adequate amount of water to help while repairs are being carried out.
The Authority’s water tankers will be dispatched to assist.
