The Barbados Water Authority informs residents of some St. George districts today Wednesday, February 28th that it has had to stop pumping from one of its Stations in the parish to facilitate the repair of a burst main in the system.
As a result, customers in the following areas may experience low pressure or a water outage while the repairs are being conducted.
Bannantyne, Boarded Hall, Brereton, Buttals Tenantry, Campaign Castle, Constant, Cox Road, Dayrell’s Hill, Eastlyn, Edey Village, First Step, Frere Pilgrim, Good Intent, Hannays Valley, Lower Brighton, Lower Greys, Manning’s Village, South District, St. David’s, Walkers Valley, Watts Village, Waverley Cot, Windsor Tenantry, South Ridge, Carmichael, Dash Valley, Buckley ‘s, Turnpike and surrounding areas.
The Authority will make every effort to assist residents via tanker as a temporary measure and will update customers once repairs are complete.
