The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) advises residents and businesses in parts of St. Andrew, St. Thomas and St. Joseph that the large-diameter main in Golden Ridge Village, St. George, has ruptured again today, Sunday, October 4, 2026.
To facilitate repairs, other stations in St. George have also been taken offline. Customers in the following areas may therefore experience low water pressure or a water outage:
St. Andrew: Turner’s Hall, Gregg Farm, Apes Hill, Church Gap, Hillaby, White Hill and Bruce Vale.
St. Thomas: Hillaby, Farmers, Airy Cot, Upper Canefield, Dunscombe, Spring Farm, Porey Spring, Content Tenantry, Friendship, Cane Garden, Chapman Village, Bloomsbury, Carrington Village, Lower Canefield, Sturges, Welchman Hall, Highland, Lion Castle, Endeavour, Clifton Hill, Walkes Spring, Clifton Tenantry and Strong Hope.
St. Joseph: –St Elizabeth Village, Blackman’s Development #2, Easy Hall, Bowling Alley, Horse Hill, Hackleton Cliff, Orange Grove, Melvins Hill, Surinam, Blackman’s, Parks Road, Tourville Road, Horse Hill, Baxters, Dark Hole, Coconut Grove, Bissex, Mellows, Parks, Melvins Hill, Fruitful Hill, Spa Hill, St. Bernard’s Village, Chimborazo, Sugar Hill, Braggs Hill, Lammings and Airy Hill.
The immediate surrounding areas in each parish may also be affected. Further updates will be provided as information becomes available.
