The Government of Barbados, with support from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Green Climate Fund (GCF), is implementing the Barbados Climate Resilient South Coast Water Reclamation Project through the Barbados Water Authority (BWA).

The project aims to enhance Barbados’ water supply resilience and reliability, with a focus on climate action, environmental sustainability, and food security. Key components include:

  • A new South Coast Water Reclamation and Reuse Facility

  • A reclaimed water pipeline for aquifer recharge and irrigation

  • A monitoring and restoration plan for the Graeme Hall Swamp

  • A 7 MW Solar Photovoltaic Plant with Battery Storage

The BWA is seeking suitably qualified and experienced professionals for the following positions that are being readvertised:

  • Project Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist (SCWRP)
