BWA to Conduct Emergency Repair Work at Holetown, St. James Wednesday night, September 4th

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
The Barbados Water Authority wishes to advise residents and businesses in St. James that it will be conducting emergency repairs to a 10-inch main at Holetown commencing tonight Wednesday, September 4th at 11:00 pm. Work is expected to conclude around 7:00 am on Thursday, September 5th.
Residents and businesses located between Sandy Crest Medical Centre and Porters in St. James and the immediate surrounding areas may be affected by low pressure or water outages during the execution of this emergency work.
Customers are asked to store an adequate supply of water to help during the period of the shutdown.
This work forms part of the ongoing works connected to the Water Resources Management & Flood Resilience Project.
The Barbados Water Authority apologises for any inconvenience this outage may cause.
The Authority also advises that work previously scheduled to be conducted at Checker Hall #2 in St. Lucy on Friday, September 6th will now be conducted on Tuesday, September 10th. (ENDS)
