BWA Continues to Experience Low Levels at Some Stations

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
The Barbados Water Authority would like to inform the public that water levels at some of its facilities continue to be low today Monday, September 2nd.
As a result, residents in some St. Peter, St. John and St. George districts may be affected by low water pressure or outages.
The Authority is also today carrying out emergency repairs at its New Market station which may impact customers in some Christ Church and St. Michael districts with low water pressure or outages.
Repair crews are also today Monday, investigating reports of bursts on mains in Parish Land, St. Philip; St. Silas Heights, St. James and servicing valves in Warners Park, Christ Church and Bishops, St. Lucy.
Water tanker crews are currently assisting customers in these and other areas as a temporary measure, however there may be delays due to heavy demand.
