Nightly Shut-offs by the BWA Continue
BARBADOS WATER AUTHORITY
PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) is reminding the public that the nightly shut-offs implemented remain in effect. This action is being taken to reduce the service disruptions being experienced by customers and businesses in several parishes and to ensure reservoirs in the areas are able to adequately supply water to customers during peak times.
The nightly shut-off exercise will directly affect residents and commercial customers in parts of St. George, St. Thomas, St. John and St. Lucy.
Customers are reminded that the shut-offs continue nightly between 9:00 p.m and 4:00 a.m until further notice.
The BWA’s water tankers will be activated to assist in affected areas. However, residents are asked to store water to help them during these periods of outage.
The Authority apologises for the inconvenience and thanks you for your cooperation. (ENDS)
