BWA’s Carlton Pumping Station Offline
BARBADOS WATER AUTHORITY
PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) is experiencing problems at its Carlton Pumping Station which have resulted in this facility currently being offline.
Customers in the following districts may be affected by low pressure or outages as a result.
In St. James: Storehouse Gap, Mount Standfast, The Garden, Weston, Lower Carlton and surrounding areas.
In St. Peter: Gibbs, Mullins, Farm Road, Heywoods Park, Speightstown and surrounding areas.
Crews have been mobilized and are addressing the issue.
The Authority is also today Wednesday, experiencing low reservoir levels at its Lodge Hill, Shop Hill and Castle Grant facilities.
The low levels may impact customers in some St. Michael, St. Thomas and St. Joseph districts.
BWA’s tanker crews will assist customers in the affected areas as a temporary measure.
The Barbados Water Authority sincerely apologizes for the inconvenience these outages may cause its valued customers.
