BWA Investigating Outages in its Distribution Network
The Barbados Water Authority would like to inform the public that today February 13th, it is investigating low water levels within the Authority’s Shop Hill to Castle Grant distribution system and the Fort George distribution system. The problems appear to have resulted in water outages or low pressure in the following areas:
The Shop Hill to Castle Grant Distribution System
- St. Thomas - Hillaby and surrounding areas;
- St. Joseph – Horse Hill, Suriname, Lammings, Chimborazo, Sugar Hill and surrounding areas.
The Fort George Distribution System
- Christ Church - Fort George Heights, Kent, Upton, Bannantyne, South Ridge, Vauxhall, St. David’s, Adams’s Castle, Brittons, Wildey. Sargeant’s Village, Rendezvous, Forde’s Road and surrounding areas.
Water tankers have been dispatched to assist customers in the affected districts.
