BWA & Corporate Barbados Unite to Address Community Tanks Issue
The race is on for the Barbados Water Authority (BWA) to replace a number of water tanks in various communities across the island.
The project is well underway and all involved are committed to ensuring that the tanks are replaced, starting with the most vulnerable areas, as soon as possible.
This is as a result of a joint initiative between the BWA, corporate Barbados and a number of individuals who have come forward to assist with the effort through donations of cash, supplies, expertise and time.
Included below are some pictures of the members of the BWA’s construction section being ably assisted by other trained workers who, though attached to other sections, are hard at work assisting on this project.
Staff worked through the night on Friday, December 14th to complete the bases on which the tanks need to be placed.
The Authority takes this opportunity to sincerely thank ALL parties who have generously and selflessly given to this endeavour.
