Emergency Work to be Conducted at Waterford Pumping Station
The Barbados Water Authority wishes to inform customers that it will be conducting emergency work at the Waterford Pumping Station today Monday, September 17th. Water from this facility feeds into the Lodge Hill and Shop Hill distribution systems.
Residents in parts of St. Michael, St. James and St. Thomas connected to these systems, may experience low pressure or water outages until the problem has been rectified.
The affected areas may include Warrens, Jackson, Cave Hill, Lodge Terrace, Airlie Tenantry and surrounding districts in St. Michael; Prior Park and surrounding districts in St. James; Redman’s Village, Kew Land, Bagatelle Terrace, Welches and surrounding districts in St. Thomas.
Water tankers will be dispatched to assist persons in the affected areas.
