BWA experiencing low water levels in its distribution network

The Barbados Water Authority wishes to inform residents and businesses being serviced by the Castle Grant system, who are experiencing low pressure or intermittent outages that it is due to low reservoir levels at the Castle Grant Reservoir and Golden Ridge Pumping Station.
Consequently, customers in parts of St. Joseph may experience low pressure or water outages. These areas may include Chimborazo, Sugar Hill, Braggs Hill, Lammings, Airy Hill, Andrews Tenantry, Parris Hill, Blackmans, Coffee Gully, Branchbury, Suriname, Horse Hill, Tourville, Bonwell, Orange Grove, Bowling Alley, Vaughn’s Road 1 & 2, Vaughn’s, Church Village and surrounding districts.
The Authority is also today experiencing low levels at its Carlton Reservoir which may be impacting customers in Mount Standfast, The Garden, Weston, Lower Carlton, Appleby Gardens, Clarkes’ Road, Fitts Village and Derricks in St. James.
Water tankers have been dispatched to assist the affected areas.
